My New ‘Project’ - - - Where are “The Children” !
This is all very exciting and very important to me !!
And, I'm asking for your help !
I have always thought of Nicola’s [SIMBARI] paintings and sculptures
as
our “Children” !
“The
Children” have long since left us, to go out into the world –
and yet, as every parent will know, ‘mum’ and ‘dad’ still “think” and
“worry” about the “kids” - - - are they ‘loved’ ?
and, yes, we did have one beautiful and gifted daughter - - Jenny, a favourite subject of many of Nicola’s paintings in the ‘70s - - - I wonder about her, too ! - - where is she? – is she happy? – will I ever see her again? - - why the silence? – is she still writing poems and stories, and drawing? - -

- - - and “The
Children” - - - are they “hanging around” in Museums,
Galleries and Collections . . . or have they found a “loving home” and
are
giving colour and light and pleasure to ‘new families’, who love them !?
I want them to be “showing off” their uniqueness . . .
and “shouting” of their ‘creator’
who is an International ‘giver of pleasure’ !
