Intriguing “DISCOVERIES” - - in “SIMBARI books” !!

Well . . . I was looking for information in the “coffee-table” SIMBARI ‘Simon & Schuster Book’ - - - and in the follow-up book that was Published by Selene Ltd. - - and two or three earlier books, which were printed to accompany various SHOWS in the 1970s. (like glorified catalogues !) - - - Out popped a wonderful article by the famous American Playwright and actor JEROME KILTY (of “Dear Liar” fame).

Jerry often came to visit us at the Villa de’Ulivi (Grottaferrata) . . this time he had come to ask Nicola to “do” the poster for his forth-coming Production, in Rome, of his very successful play . . “Dear Liar”. (“Dear Liar”) ©poster by SIMBARI |
He was a wonderful and appreciative ‘guest’ and often numbered amongst our most treasured ‘regulars’ . . .
As I read his words I laughed at “his view” of ‘our life’ (then) . . . with a “little Jenny” sleeping (THAT was very rare) . . how she loved all the confusion and people !!!
A sad “goodbye” - -
I went on-line to make sure I had all my
info. on Jerry and “Dear Liar” correct . . . and was saddened to read
that Jerome Kilty was killed in a car accident on September 6th.2012 .
. .
